Stiftelsen Familjen Nils Winbergs Fond

was established by the last will and testament of

Mr and Mrs Winberg, as they donated  their estate

to be used for this purpose after their death. 

The funeral business Källberg & Edh Begravningsbyrå AB, was chosen to execute their will.

The aim of the foundation is to support research on cardiovascular diseases and their treatment.

The foundation may award grants totaling

500 000 SEK (approx 45 300 EUR) a year.

TO APPLY

FOR A GRANT 

    The application should include:

• Name of your project (alias if needed)
• Name and location of the organisation(s), where or under  the auspices of which the project is conducted
• Name and contact information of the person in charge of the project and the person responsible for the application. Note that a project can be conducted by one or more persons who do not have to belong to any organisation. Independent researchers can also apply.
• Approval/Opinion from ethics committee or similar.

     Add about your project:

• Description of the project, its background and purpose. If any milestones and/or results have been achieved, Add also a description of those.
• Description of the current and planned funding of the project.
• Describe and verify the current status of the project, regarding both the work process as well as the budget..
• Indicate as precisely as possible the specific use for the grant applied for.
• Indicate, if possible, the time-frame or plan for the project and specifically for the part of the project that you are applying for funding.
• The amount applied for (in euros) and how it is calculated.
